Mission
The Sterling Bank Women's Business Initiative (WBI) provides resources specifically designed for women-owned business owners and female executives to create added value to their relationships with Sterling Bank.
Formed in May 2001, the WBI offers quarterly educational luncheons in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. Registration and check-in begin at 11:00 to allow attendees time to make new connections and strengthen existing relationships. Lunch is served at 11:30 to enable networking to continue during lunch. Our excellent speakers conclude their presentations at 1:00.
Realizing the value of social media, we've created a Sterling Bank Women's Initiative group on LInkedIn. Social networking sites have the potential to deliver big business benefits for those who are seeking to advance their careers, hire top talent, expand business connections and grow business opportunities. To join, simply visit www.linkedin.com and request to be a member of this group.
We invite you to subscribe to Business Confidential, Sterling Bank's quarterly electronic business newsletter. You may visit www.banksterling.com to sign up for your free subscription.
As a result of its commitment to the WBI, Sterling Bank was honored in 2003 by the Houston Business Journal and the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance as a Top Corporate Champion for women-owned businesses.
